Mara Santibáñez Artigas, nace en Santiago de Chile el 17 de Enero de 1980. Es  Magíster en Artes Visuales y  licenciada con máxima distinción, en Artes con mención en Artes Visuales. Ambos títulos de  la Universidad de Chile.

Desde 1998 Realiza exposiciones colectivas e individuales en Chile y el extranjero (principalmente parís, Buenos Aires, nueva york).

 Actualmente  es  responsable, unto a Judith jorquera del proyecto Informe- País/ País- Informe, a exponerse el 2010 en Biblioteca de Santiago y Mac Quinta Normal.

Ha trabajado impartiendo clases de pintura, dibujo,  fotografía, tratamiento de imagen digital, historia del arte,  en Universidad de Chile, Universidad Uniacc,  P. Universidad Católica, Universidad Diego Portales, Universidad Andrés Bello, Universidad Desarrollo, Corporación Cultural Balmaceda 1215.

Actualmente vive y trabaja en Santiago de Chile.
